Welcome to our site!

The Rotary Club of Central Mississippi, MS, U.S. was chartered on December 04, 2014, as the Rotary Club of East Mississippi and operated as an evening local chapter of Rotary International (RI).  The club chartered with 26 members, including community leaders from retail business, government, education, finance and law.

In 2017 to meet the busy lifestyles of our members the club converted to an e club.  In 2021 we changed our name to the Rotary Club of Central Mississippi to better represent our membership.

The purpose of Central Mississippi Rotary e-club is to extend Rotary to business, professional and community leaders in any Rotary District who are unable to meet traditional requirements.  Take your time and visit our site - if you would like to join us submit an application on the Become a Member tab.  If you would like more information,

The History of Rotary

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.  Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world.

"Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves." - Paul Harris
